David G. Mann

David G. Mann, 85, of The Villages, FL, passed away on July 24, 2018. David was born on December 12, 1932 in North Bergen, NJ to his parents Tom and Helen Mann. He was raised in Nutley, NJ where he graduated Nutley High School in the Class of 1951. David served in the US Army before marrying Jane E. Mowen in 1955. He then attended Rutgers College.

At the age of 60, David retired and later moved to The Villages where he resided for the past 13 years. He was an avid golfer and pickle ball player; he was involved with the Morven Mixers, and The Villages Golf Club. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

David is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Jane Mowen Mann; son, David Mann (Chris); daughters, Nancy Ponzio (Peter) and Susan Woody (Michael); brother, Edward Mann (Kathi); sister, Marilyn Eckert (Bart); 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Helen Mann; and a brother, Tom Mann.
