Del Webb Spruce Creek resident reports theft of semi-automatic pistol

A semi-automatic pistol was reportedly stolen from a vehicle owned by a homeowner at Del Webb Spruce Creek.

The 77-year-old homeowner who lives on SE 97th Terrace Road reported that the black .45 caliber Taurus had been removed from a briefcase in his vehicle, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

The last time he saw the gun, valued at $350, was Friday, the report indicated.
