A Village of Bonnybrook man was arrested on 16 counts of child pornography Saturday morning at his mother’s home in the Village of LaBelle.

John Edward O’Reilly Jr., 34, had been taken into custody by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies in April at the Belvedere Library when he was found to have inappropriate graphic sexual images on his iPhone. O’Reilly, who has a developmental disability, had been making paper airplanes with children at the time law enforcement had been called to the library. You can read more about that arrest HERE.

A search warrant was later obtained for O’Reilly’s iPhone and videos were discovered showing sadomasochistic abuse of a child and sexual bestiality involving a child, according to an arrest report.

O’Reilly was booked Saturday on the 16 new charges at the Sumter County Detention Center. He was released after posting $80,000 bond.
