Distracted driver’s vehicle crashes through fence near Wildwood Community Center

A distracted driver’s vehicle crashed through a fence Sunday evening near the Wildwood Community Center on Powell Road.

Passion I’munique Graham, 17, of Leesburg, had been driving a 2001 Toyota Corolla at 6:05 p.m. Sunday on Powell Road when she surrendered the wheel of the vehicle to a passenger, 17-year-old Ilah Danyelle Anderson, also of Leesburg, so that Graham could search for an item in the backseat, according to an accident report from the Wildwood Police Department.

The vehicle left the roadway and struck the fence.

There were no injuries and no ticket was issued.
