Donald Gerald Gregory, 82, passed away with his beloved wife, Janice, by his side at their home in Leesburg, Florida on October 29, 2018. Donald was born October 26, 1936 in Athens, Georgia to Charles and Audrey Jean Gregory.
He served in the United States Army. Most of his adult life, 35 years, he worked as a heavy equipment crane operator for International Union of Operating Engineers in the construction industry. Donald and Janice move to Leesburg, Florida in 2005 from Anchorage, Alaska.
Donald is survived by his daughters, Audrey Gregory, Kolleen Stasevich, Stepdaughter June Ruda (Jim) and stepsons Thomas B. Smith (Jody), Timothy B. Smith (Terret), Terrance B. Smith (Karen). He loved his family and eleven grandchildren with all his heart.
On Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018 there will be a gathering at 10 a.m. and a memorial service at 11 a.m., with a luncheon to follow at the First Baptist Church of Leesburg, South-Campus, 25900 U.S. Hwy. 27 Leesburg, FL 34748.
