Driver ticketed after collision at Rolling Acres Road and County Road 466

A 19-year-old Weirsdale woman was ticketed following a collision at noon Thursday at the intersection of Rolling Acres Road and County Road 466.

Aura Lee Blackburn had been at the wheel of a 2002 Toyota Tundra pickup and traveling eastbound on County Road 466 when she attempted to make a left turn onto Rolling Acres Road, according to an accident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. Her truck collided with a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe driven by 72-year-old Judith Ann Maslowski of the Village of Chatham which had been westbound on County Road 466.

Both drivers escaped injury.

Blackburn was ticketed on a charge of careless driving.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
