Edith Maddox Middleton

Edith “EO” Maddox Middleton, 94, of Wildwood, FL, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Mrs. Middleton was born November 8, 1923 in Savannah, GA to George Emmitt and Carlisle (Heidt) Maddox.

She has lived here most of her life and was a homemaker. Edith was a member of the Wildwood United Methodist Church where she was involved in many programs including singing in the choir.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Josh & Katie Middleton and Jake & Laura Middleton; 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, D.W.; son, John and 6 siblings.

Visitation will be from 2 – 3 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 3 p.m., Friday, June 15, 2018 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Wildwood.
