Carol Ann Boyack, 81, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 31, 2022.

Carol was born on January 17, 1941 in Jersey City, New Jersey to William and Olga Griffin. She was a graduate of Albany High School (NY) and attended college at SUNY New Paltz before marrying the love of her life, Robert Boyack, on May 12, 1962. Carol and Bob had two children, Michael and Sharon and called many places home while raising their family, among them Rochester, NY and Minneapolis, MN. Carol and Bob enjoyed a long retirement in Boynton Beach, Florida; New Bern, North Carolina; and Lady Lake, Florida where Carol continued to reside until her passing.

Carol loved her family and friends and had nothing but kind words for everyone. She was a lifelong boater and belonged to many boating organizations with Bob including the Harris Chain branch of the US Power Squadron where she remained deeply involved after Bob’s passing in 2020. Carol loved living in Florida, spending time with friends, and rooting for the Buffalo Bills! She had a deep impact on those around her with her quiet grace and gentle nature.

Carol is survived by her children Michael (Melissa) Boyack of Rochester, New York and Sharon (Craig) Myers of Cuba, New York; two grandchildren: Casey and Patrick Boyack, and many friends who will miss her kindness, grace, quiet strength and infectious smile.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 11am at Baldwin Brothers, 3990 East State Road 44, Wildwood, FL 34785. Contributions in her memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
