The Oxford Assembly of God in Oxford will be hosting a workshop entitled ABC of Dementia from 10 to noon Tuesday, Feb. 5.

Conducted by Debbie Selsavage, president of Coping with Dementia LLC, the workshop is aimed at caregivers for individuals living with dementia. It will explain how Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia affect an individual, how to interpret so-called “dementia behaviors” for better communication, and how to become a less-stressed and more effective caregiver.

While the workshop is free, those wishing to attend are encouraged to register in advance for planning purposes. To register or for more information, call (352) 422-3663 or (352) 748-6124.
