The 22nd Annual Villages Area Golden Eagle Dinner will take place on Monday, March 11, at the American Legion Post 347 Hall in Lady Lake, FL with the theme of “Choose Your Adventure”. The reception is at 5 p.m, dinner at 6 p.m. Business casual or evening casual is the dress.
2019 is the 100th anniversary of the American Legion, an organization who has supported Boy Scouts of America for the past 100 years and is being honored for their continued support of so many organizations in our community, including our local Scouting and other youth organizations efforts.
There is no ticket to purchase for dinner. An ask will be made at the dinner for those attending for their consideration to make a gift to scouting. This year we are respectively asking their consideration of an investment in Scouting of $150 or more.
These funds will support our camps, program materials, administrative support, both professional scouter training and adult volunteer scouter training, camping scholarships, uniforms and materials for those scouts who have financial challenges, insurance and all it takes to run and maintain a successful scouting program locally.
If you care for more information or to RSVP to attend, please contact John Larsen, District Executive, at John.Larsen@cflscouting.org or 407-703-0262.
