Cold War Patriots (CWP), a community resource organization that is the nation’s strongest and most sustained voice advocating for worker benefits, will host free information events for Pinellas Plant workers in Florida on Feb. 27 in Lady Lake at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

At the events, workers will obtain information about how the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) relates to their current health status. Additionally, for workers who already have their U.S. Department of Labor white medical benefits card and attend a morning session, CWP will introduce its Professional Case Management (PCM) In-Home Care and Impairments Programs. Through these in-home care and impairments divisions, CWP makes it even easier for nuclear weapons workers to maximize the benefits they have earned. It can also help workers increase the monetary compensation for which they qualify.

The 10 a.m. session is customized for workers who have already applied for EEOICPA benefits and have either been awarded a U.S. Department of Labor white medical benefits card or have a pending claim. At the morning session, participants will learn:

• How to file for medical expense reimbursement
• How impairment evaluations can help them qualify for additional monetary compensation
• Why they should add conditions to an existing claim
• Why in-home care might be beneficial to them
• What to do if some of their claims have been approved (or are pending) while others have been denied

The 2 p.m. session is for workers who haven’t yet applied for benefits or those whose claims have been denied. Afternoon participants will learn:

• If they qualify for up to $400,000 in monetary compensation and free healthcare
• How to apply for benefits
• What benefits are included
• How to reopen denied claims

First Ever Italian Water Circus Coming to Crystal River!
Mar 14 @ 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM
First Ever Italian Water Circus Coming to Crystal River! @ Cirque Italia - Gold Unit | Crystal River | Florida | United States

EVER WONDER WHAT A WATER CIRCUS IS ALL ABOUT? With a new TWIST on the word “Circus”, Cirque Italia is presenting a NEW MODERN AGE SHOW like NO OTHER – here one weekend only in CRYSTAL RIVER, FL from March 14-17!

What to Expect
Cirque Italia, America’s first traveling Water Circus, is constantly searching for new ways to provide once in a lifetime experiences to the American audience, which lead to the introduction of our second unit, the Gold Unit. Our aim is to produce a luxurious atmosphere where water, technology, and preforming arts are mixed to create a one-of-a-kind show.
• Have your 5 senses stimulated: see our incredible BIG TOP TENT and SPECTACULAR performers, breath in the smell of concessions, sit center ring on the edge of your seat (try not to squeeze the seat too hard) while performers fly high above, taste the yummy cotton candy, and hear the crowd yell!
• Cirque Italia focuses on keeping the traditional ‘big top circus feel’ under the tent, so the children of today can still enjoy the same experience their parents might have experienced years ago.
• An ultra-modern water curtain that controls every droplet of water meticulously. Words and beautiful patterns can be seen as the water falls to the ‘lagoon’ below synchronized with the most creative display of superhuman talent – the result is simply out of this world!
• A selection of the best circus artists from around the globe. Cirque Italia believes multi-culturalism is one of our strongest assets.
• Incredible acts!! There will be no boredom here. Contortionists, mermaids, a laser man, the wheel of death……you will never know what to expect next! And we don’t want to give too much away. You need to come see for yourself!
• No live animal acts. Although we may use puppets that look like animals, all of our shows remain strictly animal free.

Who is Responsible here?
The “magic touch” of the Italian entrepreneur Manuel Rebecchi, President and Owner of Cirque Italia, added to the flawless direction of the COO, Chanté DeMoustes, and has turned this once romantic project into a successful production known and acclaimed all over the country.
Who should attend?
One thing Cirque Italia sets out to accomplish is to create a type of world-class entertainment suitable for all age groups. All are welcome.
