Fox News personality Eric Bolling drew a tremendous crowd to his book signing Saturday afternoon in the Barnes & Nobles Lake Sumter Landing.
Bolling spoke to the fans before signing books as he introduced to the crowd his son Eric and shared how “The Five” came to be a show five years ago this month.
He then asked fans why they liked “The Five,” which Fox News fan Mark Gallo of the Village of Bonita answered that the show addresses the real issues.
In the midst of answering questions from fans, Bolling was presented with a gift by Gene Snavley of the Village of Sanibel on behalf of Villagers, which was a card that read “Eric Bolling for U.S. President 2020 to 2024.”
Bolling then spoke about the upcoming presidential elections and discussed his support for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
“You’ve got to win,” said Bolling to the crowd in regards to voting for Trump.
Florida and Ohio, he says, are two states that Trump would need to win to become president. He also stated that he believes Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will be indicted following her meeting with the FBI.
Huge fans of “The Five” Dr. and Mrs. Robert and Jeanne Lee of the Village of Bridgeport at Miona Shores shared their excitement of meeting their Fox News idol.
“We watch it all the time,” said Dr. Robert Lee who then explained that he believes Bolling is “honest” and that he believes everything the host says.
Toby Marano of Summerfield used FaceTime to let his son Toby Jr., who could not make it to the event, speak to his favorite host as Bolling signed books.
Even before Bolling was known for his appearances on various Fox News programs, Marano explained that he used to watch him all the time when he was on CNBC.
The Village of Tamarind Grove resident Helen Gale called her meeting with Bolling “great” and expressed her enthusiasm for the large turnout of supporters who showed up to the signing during this Fourth of July weekend.
Despite the event’s start at 2 p.m., many fans like Mark Gallo and his wife Lisa, stood in line since noon to meet Bolling. The book signing eventually sold out all the books the store had.
