Father of Navy SEAL shot down in helicopter to speak to Retired Military Family Group

The Retired Military Family Group (RMFG) will meet Wednesday, at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24 in the Lincoln Room at Laurel Manor Recreation Center.

The featured speaker will be Billy Vaughn. The author of “Betrayed,” the story of “Extortion 17”, the shoot-down and alleged cover-up that cost the life of Vaughn’s son, Aaron, a Navy SEAL.

Books will be available ($20) and Vaughn will be available to autograph them.

New members and guests are always welcome. RMFG membership is open to all military retirees, spouses, widows and widowers for a one time donation of $25. Coffee, water, ice and snacks are provided by the club and BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage) is permitted. There will be a 50/50 drawing and a collection box for Operation Shoebox.
