Florida Highway Patrol called in to investigate accident in front of Southern Trace

The Florida Highway Patrol has been called in to investigate an accident that occurred Friday morning on County Road 466 in front of Southern Trace Plaza.

The accident occurred at 10:30 a.m. at a location that has seen a number of crashes.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office and the Villages Public Safety Department also responded to the scene.
