Former White House press secretary Dana Perino will be signing copies of her latest book Saturday, Nov.19 at Barnes & Noble at  Lake Sumter Landing.

Her book, titled “Let Me Tell you About Jasper…How My Best Friend Became America’s Dog,” features her dog Jasper as the star of the novel who brings order in her life of politics.

After working as a White House press secretary, Perino went on to be a host of “The Five” on Fox News.

Perino has been a regular here in The Villages. She has signed books, conducted a town hall meeting at the Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center and appeared with “Fox & Friends” in live broadcast from Lake Sumter Landing in 2011.

“This will be a straight signing, no posed photos, and no personalization as we want to ensure that Dana is able to get through as many people as possible,” said Barnes & Noble manager Becky Boldizar.

Doors will open at 8 a.m. for customers to begin claiming wristbands. A copy of the book and a Barnes & Noble receipt are required for a wristband.

The book signing will begin at 10 a.m.
