Francis John Radulski Sr.

Francis John Radulski, Sr., 92, of The Villages, FL, passed away on July 21, 2017. He was born Nov. 19, 1924, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. and was the last survivor of 9 siblings.

He is survived by his son Francis Radulski, Jr. and his wife Joanne, and many nieces and nephews including Charles and Claudette Frank of Summerfield, Fl. Frank was married to his beloved wife Eleanor for 58 years until her death in 2006.

Frank served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean war. During WWII, he served aboard the USS Alabama where he earned 9 battle stars and received a “commendation for excellent service.” Frank was a member of St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, a 4th degree K of C, a life member of VFW Post 8083 and American Legion Post 284, and served in many other organizations during his very active life.

A viewing will be held at Hiers-Baxley funeral home, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd. in The Villages from 3 – 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25th and a funeral mass will be held at St. Timothy’s on Wed. July 26th at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell on a date to be determined.
