A Fruitland Park man was arrested with Oxycodone after a traffic stop on U.S. 301 in Wildwood.
Daniel E. Allen, 36, at 2:02 a.m. Thursday had been driving a gray 2000 Toyota Avalon when he was pulled over by a Wildwood police officer. Allen presented a Tennessee driver’s license, which was suspended. A search of his vehicle turned up three pills, believed to be Oxycodone.
He was arrested on a felony charge of drug possession, a misdemeanor charge of driving without a valid driver’s license and given a verbal warning about a brake light with a crack.
He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $2,500Â bond.
