Hewitt W. Young, 78, of The Villages, FL, passed from this life on Monday, November 6, 2017. Born in Pittsburgh, PA he was the son of the late Edward and Marion (Miller) Young.

Hewitt proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps during 1958-1962.

He had a distinguished career in sales in the Kansas City metropolitan area in both the insurance and automotive industries.

Hewitt retired in 2005 and moved to The Villages with his wife Jeannine.
He enjoyed The Villages lifestyle and was an avid golfer. He also worked part-time in The Villages Community Watch program.

Hewitt leaves his beloved wife of 48 years, Jeannine V. Young; his children, Guy Young (Regina); Kevin Young; Kimberly Young; Jay Young; Jason Young (Jocelyn); a brother, Ronald Young; a sister, Donna McCartney; 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Services will be private; however, the family is holding a casual get together to remember and honor Hewitt at the Allamanda Recreation Center Picnic Pavilion on Friday, Nov. 10, from 4 – 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans (dav.org).
