Janet Jones

Janet “Susie” Jones, age 80 of Weirsdale, formerly of Summerfield, FL, passed away October 22, 2018 in The Villages, Florida. Janet was born on March 25, 1938 in Summerfield, Florida to William Thomas and Myrtle Florence (Brinson) Gray.

Janet married the love of her life Norman E. Jones on January 24, 1959 in Summerfield.

Janet was homemaker, she loved providing for her family and husband. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and was an avid bowler who loved to win. Janet was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Summerfield.

Janet is survived by her husband Norman, sons, William Jones of Weirsdale, Norman Jones Jr. of Winter Haven, daughters, Susan Dorman (Danny) of Boiling Springs, S.C., Sheryl Hare (William) of Weirsdale, sister, Laurie Parris (Jerry) of Ocklawaha, FL, grandchildren, Chad, Jeremy, Jordan, Jaren, Kelli and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, October 26, 2018 with visitation from 10 a.m. until the service begins in the First Baptist Church of Summerfield. Interment will be private at Crum Cemetery.
