John G. Foley

John G. Foley, age 73, of The Villages, FL, passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on Sunday, December 9, 2018. He was born in Burlington, VT on November 13, 1945.

John was raised in Windsor, VT by Gerald and Elisabeth (Griffin) Foley. He was a Sales Engineer in the Machine Tool industry. John enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, golfing, traveling and spending time with his children and grandchildren. In retirement he worked as a Gate Attendant at Boone and Alhambra.

He is survived by his wife Bobbi; daughters Dawn Foley (Michael Raffin) and Joleen Downey; sisters Margaret Romano (Bill) and Marilyn Jacobs; grandchildren Brandon Downey and Elizabeth Downey; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Wayne Casey.

A celebration of life will take place at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd, The Villages, FL on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, The Villages Regional Hospital or Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages.
