Korean War veteran will speak at ceremony marking end of the ‘Forgotten War’

Ralph Hoffman, chaplain of the Villages Marine Corps League Detachment #1267 (The Colonel Phillip C. Delong Detachment), will speak Wednesday morning at a Korean War Armistice Ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park in The Villages.
Hoffman served as a U.S. Marine and saw combat in Korea.
Villagers and area residents are encouraged to attend the ceremony at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 27 at the park in Spanish Springs.
