Lady Lake man arrested after traffic stop near Shay Gate on Historic Side of Villages

A 27-year-old Lady Lake man was arrested after a traffic stop near the Shay Gate on the Historic Side of The Villages.

Adam Billings was pulled over at about 1:30 a.m. July 15 and a check revealed his driver’s license has been revoked and he has been classified as a habitual offender.

A Crown Royal bag inside Billings’ book bag was found to contain two small digital scales, several small baggies and a green plastic water pipe.

Billings was arrested on charges of driving while license revoked and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $5,000 bond.
