Former NADONA President and Advisor to the Board Laura Fain presented Daves the award at NADONA’s 30th National Conference on July 18 at Orlando at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

NADONA is a nation-wide organization uniting nursing leaders in the post-acute long term care industry. As a group, they share innovative ideas and best practices, continue learning and gain specialized certifications, and utilize a network of highly skilled individuals to deliver exceptional care to patients.

“I feel very honored to receive this award. I’m proud of the team I work with in my facility and to be part of the Greystone family,” Daves said as she accepted her award.

Daves was nominated for the award by Regional Director of Operations and longtime colleague Tricia Robinson.

“She is an unstoppable force, always looking to refine her skills through continued education, never resting on her laurels. She seeks innovative ideas and specializations, which helps her reach lofty goals,” Robinson said.

A resident of Floral City, Daves has been in long term care for more than 24 years. She is a certified NHA, RAI specialist and Vohra wound caregiver. She received her nursing degree and MBA from University of Phoenix.
