Lady Lake woman serving in U.S. Army earns degree from McKendree University

A Lady Lake woman is among the graduates this year at McKendree University.

Kendra Cora will graduate magna cum laude from the university’s Radcliff campus in Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in human resource management.

Cora, who transferred to McKendree University from Pierce College in Lakewood, Mich., and is serving in the Army, will receive her diploma in a ceremony June 2.

McKendree University’s main campus is in Lebanon, Ill. Campuses located in Radcliff and Shepherdsville, Ky., are structured to provide convenience for working adults who want to pursue degrees in a variety of business-related fields.

McKendree College’s Class of 2018 includes 714 graduates of the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Education and School of Nursing and Health Professions.

This year marks the university’s 178th commencement exercise. The Class of 2018 includes 714 graduates of the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Education and School of Nursing and Health Professions. They hail from 26 states and eight countries.
