Letter from John Fitch regarding John Kerry being a traitor

To the Editor:

Mr. Fitch needs to look at actual facts regarding his statements in a recent Letter to the Editor.
First, Kerry never met with Ho Chi Minh.  Ho died on Sept. 2, 1969 and unless Kerry was channeling his spirit, this meeting never happened.
In addition, the Vietnam war was an unwinnable war and the majority of Americans were opposed to it as well as the senseless slaughter of American boys (the policy seems to have been to send soldiers to capture a hill and once completed, abandon it so the Viet Cong can retake it without and blood loss).
The final bit is that Kerry has never said that he will run in 2020. I do believe the exiting the Iran nuclear deal was a huge mistake for the U.S. (as was exiting the Kyoto Protocol and the senseless ramblings regarding NATO).
Now, can we all, Republicans, Democrats and Independents just do a little research before opening our mouths.
