Man arrested in Publix parking lot at Grand Traverse Plaza in The Villages

Aaron Lewis Beach

A man was arrested Friday morning in the parking lot of Publix at Grand Traverse Plaza in The Villages.

Aaron Lewis Beach, 49, of Wildwood, was driving a blue Chevy Blazer at about 7 a.m. when he was spotted by a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy who was aware that Beach had been arrested Nov. 1 for driving on a suspended license. He was free on $1,000 bond.

The deputy confirmed it was Beach and that his license had been suspended in 2017.

Beach had been convicted in 2000 of driving while license suspended in Brevard County, according to the arrest report.

Beach was taken into custody and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and was released later that day after posting $2,000 bond.
