Lake County sheriff’s detectives are looking for a man in connection with a shooting that occurred last month on County Road 445 near Astor.
Detectives believe Dexavion J’neil Brown was the shooter in the Sept. 27 incident that left two victims in serious but stable condition, a sheriff’s office report states, adding that he was accompanied by an unidentified black male.
Both Brown and the other man are believed to have left the shooting scene in a black SUV with plastic taped over the passenger-side window. Brown has an active Lake County warrant for two counts of attempted first degree murder and two counts of robbery using a firearm, the report says.
