Villager Margo Smith’s benefit concert on Oct. 8 raised more than $11,000 for Ukulele Kids Club, Inc.

The famed Tennessee Yodeler, a Village of Chatham resident, performed and played the ukelele in the benefit event at Savannah Center. The concert raised money for children’s hospitals through the Ukulele Kids Club for seriously ill children.

Also performing were Phil Caltabellotta and Earl Lavier with The Villages Banjolele Club.
