Martha ‘Betty’ Love

Martha “Betty” Love, 94, of Oxford, Florida passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017. She was born in Houston, Texas on September 6, 1922 and raised in New Orleans until she returned to Houston at the age of fourteen. Betty married Robert M. Love, III on November 29, 1941 and shortly thereafter they moved to Baytown, Texas where they raised their family and enjoyed living on the water for over 50 years. She moved to Florida with her daughter Sally in 2004. Betty lived a full, wonderful life doing just about anything she darned well felt like. She was a sweet, caring individual who could be and easily was the life of the party until the very end.

Survivors include her daughters Sally Love of Oxford, FL and Linda Love Krueger of San Antonio, TX; son in-law John H. Krueger; granddaughter Jill J. Krueger of San Antonio, TX and her children Kenan and Katherine Castillo; grandson Alex T. Krueger and wife Leander G. Krueger of Old Greenwich, CT and their children Max, Leighton, and August.

A graveside memorial service will be held in Baytown, Texas at a date and time to be determined.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers and Cornerstone Hospice who helped Betty during her last few months.
