No lap swimming for guests in The Villages

To the Editor:

With all of the pools we have in The Villages, there are no pools where guests can swim laps. My daughter and daughter-in-law both do lap swimming. I’m told that some people drive their guests to Ocala to the Y which is at least 45 minutes away — quite a distance. Why can’t there be a pool or two for guest lap swimming? I don’t believe all the regional pools are too busy to allow guests to lap swim. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
