Pocket Pillowcase Club donates $3,500 to doctor helping needy in third world nations

Members of the Pocket Pillowcase Club presented Dr. Glenn Geelhoed with a check for $3,500 at a book signing and talk on Nov. 1 at the Savannah Center.  Dr. Geelhoed is the founder of Mission To Heal whose goal is to provide medical services to underserved people in third world countries.  The club raises money for Dr. Geelhoed through the sale of pillowcase dresses and britches at various craft shows. He has also given more than 3,500 dresses to needy children on his various missions.
