Police track down second suspect in theft from locker at Too Your Health Spa

Bryan Keith Stein

Lady Lake police have tracked down a second suspect in the theft of a wallet and phone from a locker at Too Your Health Spa.

A homeless man had been arrested last month after the burglary of a locker while a customer worked out in the gym.

Bryan Keith Stein, 33, of Ocala, on Oct. 5 was found sleeping in the playground at the Cove Apartments, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. He attempted to give an officer a false name prior to his arrest, but police determined who he was and discovered he was a wanted man.

Warrants had been obtained for Stein’s arrest as the first suspect identified him as an accomplice in the Too Your Health Spa locker burglary. Stein’s mugshot had been compared to video surveillance to ascertain it was him.

He is facing charges of grand theft, burglary, criminal mischief and giving false information to a law enforcement officer.

He was booked on $20,500 bond at the Lake County Jail.

In 2014, Stein was arrested after allegedly attempting to steal merchandise, including a Barbie doll from Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge Plaza in The Villages. A year later, he returned to the same store and attempted to shoplift sandals and clothing.
