Robert ‘Bob’ C. Newton

Robert “Bob” C. Newton, 77, of Summerfield, FL, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. He was born April 20, 1940 in Rochester, NY to Eleanor and Clair Newton.

Bob graduated from Gorham High School. He worked most of his career in sales, last working for Hillenbrand Industries in Batesville, IN as the Eastern Division Sales Director for Forethought.

Surviving are his wife, Ilene Arner Newton; children, Robert, James, and Lori all of New York; a half-sister, Claire Saxton of Escondido, CA; step-sons, Pete and Doug Arner of Chester, WV, Greg Arner of Arizona, and George Arner of Pittsburgh, PA.
