Robert Michael Kenworthy was born on October 6, 1946 and died on April 4, 2018, at the age of 71, in The Villages, FL.
Robert passed away suddenly from complications due to cancer, of which he was diagnosed with only 6 weeks earlier. He was with his life partner Nancy, and his eldest son Steven at the time of his death.
Bob was born in Buffalo NY and grew up in East Aurora NY, graduating from East Aurora High School in 1964. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Printing Management from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1968. Upon graduating college, he began to work as Plant manager for Kenworthy Graphics under the tutelage of his father.
Bob was President/CEO of Kenworthy Graphics, Inc. From 1980 until 1993. In 1995, he moved to southern Florida and worked as an estimator for Southeastern Printing in Port St. Lucie, as well as an accomplished handyman.
He retired from full-time work 2009, and eventually ended up spending the last days of his retirement with his beloved partner Nancy in The Villages, Florida.
Bob was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing with many relatives and friends. He also loved his hometown of East Aurora, NY, and would return in the summer many times for class of ’64 reunions.
He is survived by his partner Nancy, son Steven, daughter Lisa (Aaron) and son Matthew, sister Susan, and his granddaughters Lauren and Grace. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Charles and Elyse Irene.
A small service will follow in East Aurora, NY in the summer of 2018.
