Roy A. Whitehurst, age 72, of Oxford, FL, passed away December 6, 2018 in The Villages, Florida. Roy was born on July 2, 1946 to Leslie and Dorothy (Jones) Whitehurst in Brooksville, FL.
Roy served his country by joining the U. S. Army. Roy moved back to Florida from Colorado in 2010. Roy was a heavy equipment operator and loved to fish and hunt.
Roy is survived by 3 step children, 2 step grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Roy is preceded in death by his wife Mildred.
