Ruth Frances Day

Ruth Frances Day, 83, of The Villages, Florida, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Sumter Place In The Villages, Florida. Ruth was born on April 9, 1934 in Miami, Florida a daughter of the late Leo and Frances (Betts) Dillard.

She was the wife of Donald D. Day for 66 years. Ruth enjoyed life with her husband and loved the Lord. Because of her the Day family and the next generations were brought to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus. She enjoyed family get-togethers and nights in church. She loved teaching children and helping anyone in need. She was a nanny to the Robin family and loved dearly by them. She really enjoyed their visits after the kids were grown. Most of all she just enjoyed being next to daddy and all the love he showered over her … that is what will be most dearly missed … seeing them throwing kisses back and forth and holding hands!

Ruth will be deeply missed by her husband, Donald Day of The Villages, FL and children Donald, Cindy, and David Day of FL. She has 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

We are having a celebration of life party for mom at Jessica’s and Hector’s. Saturday the 9th. We ask that large flower arrangements be sized down so dad has room to keep most in his room for awhile. He really enjoys cards that he can keep and read many times.

God Bless You All ❤
