Slow ticket sales force cancellation of veterans show at Savannah Center

The “Country Music Salutes Our Veterans” show scheduled for Nov. 14-15 at Savannah Center has been canceled.

The Broadway-bound production featured an array of local singers and dancers and had been in rehearsal for weeks.

But slow ticket sales and other complications caused it to be shelved, Director Carol Greenfield stated in an email.

“This was not an easy decision,” she said, adding that refunds will be made to the patrons who purchased tickets.
