Snowbird gets great ‘welcome back gift’ at Escambia Executive Golf Course

Nancy Stafford

Seasonal resident Nancy Stafford, of the Village of Virginia Trace, had quite a welcome back Friday to Florida’s Friendliest Hometown.

As she stepped onto the first tee box at the Escambia Executive Golf Course, she commented to her foursome that this was the first time she had played since returning to The Villagers for the winter season.

It would also turn out to be the first time she ever made a hole-in-one. Quite a nice welcome back gift!

If you get a hole-in-one or have other applause-worthy news, share it with us at www.villages-news.com/contact us.
