Spanish Springs Panera closes briefly after early morning leak

The Panera in Spanish Springs closed briefly Wednesday morning after a leaky ceiling was discovered by employees.

When staff arrived around 5 a.m., they discovered a pool of water had formed as the result of a leak in the ceiling.

The store was forced to close for a few hours until it reopened at 9 a.m.

The source of the leak was still being investigated as of Wednesday morning.

Earlier this summer, customers at the same Panera location were forced to evacuate after a fire broke out in the kitchen area.
