Stonecrester claims woman tried to choke him during dispute

A Stonecrest man who was arguing with a woman in his home called a Marion County sheriff’s deputy for help Monday.

The man, who lives on SE 117th Circle, claimed that the woman grabbed him from behind and tried to choke him. He said he didn’t have a problem breathing, nor was his circulation interrupted in any way. There were no signs of injury on his body, a sheriff’s office report states.

The woman, who already had left the residence, returned while the deputy was still at the house filling out paperwork. She said that she and the man were arguing but she never attempted to choke him, the report says.
