Sumter County sheriff’s deputies searching for man after SWAT team raids home, arrests woman

Sumter County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a suspect who slipped through their fingers in a SWAT team raid Wednesday afternoon.

Deputies executed a narcotics search warrant at 3169 CR 431N in, Lake Panasoffkee while attempting to locate 41-year-old Brian Scott Johnson.

The search warrant led to the arrest of 26-year-old Chelsea Ware on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and keeping a drug shop.

The sheriff’s office is actively seeking Johnson, who is wanted for dealing in stolen property and resisting a law enforcement officer.
