Two drivers ticketed in crash at Rolling Acres Road and County Road 466

Two drivers were ticketed as the result of a collision at 7:20 a.m. Thursday at Rolling Acres Road and County Road 466.

Tahirah Rashidah Magee, 31, of Orlando, had been traveling west on County Road 466 in a 2015 Toyota Corolla when 16-year-old Steven C. Vanvoorhees of Lady Lake was making a right-hand turn from Rolling Acres Road onto County Road 466, according to an accident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The front bumper of Vanvoorhees’ 2003 Toyota Tacoma sideswiped the passenger side of Magee’s vehicle.

Vanvoorhees was ticketed on a charge of improper right turn.

Magee was ticketed on a charge of no proof of insurance.

Golf course deserves a failing grade
