Two suspects have been arrested in an armed robbery which occurred early Saturday morning in Ocala.
The robbery occurred at about 5 a.m. at the Citgo service station located at 1517 SW 10th.
The clerk told police a man entered the store, brandished a firearm and demanded money, according to an arrest report from the Ocala Police Department. The man wore a mask and red high-topped tennis shoes and carried a semi-automatic handgun.
The exchange was captured on video surveillance.
Witnesses provided police with information that led them to a blue 2003 Mazda parked at a residence. Officers surrounded the residence, announced their presence and knocked on the door. The woman who rents the home told police she lives there with her brothers and a cousin.
Taken into custody at the home were 20-year-old Avery Gerard Patterson Jr. and 20-year-old Jamonta Tykale Jamerson on charges of armed robbery. Both were booked at the Marion County Jail.
