Villager gets first hole-in-one while golfing with wife, friends

Village of Hadley resident John Osmond used his 7 iron to get his first hole-in-one recently on the 128 yard, 8th hole of the Sarasota Executive Golf Course.

It was witnessed by his wife, Gloria, and two other golfing companions.

“Just goes to prove that even the blind squirrel gets the nut once in a while. Life is great here in The Villages,” Osmond said.
