Lady Lake police nabbed a Villages nail technician along with a pair with methamphetamine, marijuana, pills and a loaded gun.
The trio had been traveling in a green Oldsmobile with an expired tag at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday when the car was pulled over at U.S. Hwy. 27/441 at County Road 25, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
The driver was identified as 47-year-old Lisa Degrego of Leesburg, whose license had been suspended in July for failure to pay a traffic fine. She told police she knew her license was suspended and could not pay the fine to have her license re-instated. A search of her purse turned up Xanax.
Degrego is identified on the Salon Jaylee website as a 30-year nail technician working at the Salon Jaylee location at Rolling Acres Plaza.
Two passengers, 25-year-old Joshua Richardson and 24-year-old Jessica Rainwater of Leesburg, had been sitting in the car where drugs were discovered. There were bags that contained 28.6 grams of methamphetamine, 2.2 grams of marijuana, .5 grams of heroin, three Buprenorphine Hydrochloride and approximately 40 Xanax pills.
Rainwater, a convicted felon, was also found to be in possession of a loaded revolver.
All three were taken into custody and booked at the Lake County Jail.
