Entertainment at square appealing to wrong age group

To the Editor:

There was a new band last night by the name of Gin and Tonic. It was a very nice night and vendors night. When we arrived around 7:30 p.m., the square was half full. Very odd on a nice night.
The group just came back from break and as they were great musicians their choice of music was not what our age group wanted to hear. No one was dancing and after six head-banging songs about 100 people left, including us.
My wife made a very good point! If they continue this type of entertainment, it will draw the younger people from outside The Villages and then the fun begins.
