Electric bicycle stolen when man stops at Circle K for sandwich, Lotto tickets

An electric bicycle was stolen Sunday night when a man stopped at Circle K for a Subway sandwich and Florida Lottery tickets.

The 49-year-old Summerfield man said he parked his black X’Treme 250-watt electric mountain bike outside the Circle K on U.S. Hwy. 441 in Summerfield, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. He went inside and bought Lotto tickets and a sandwich from Subway. When he re-emerged, the bicycle was gone.

The man indicated he had purchased the electric bicycle from Amazon for $800.
