Woman arrested after allegedly threatening woman and children with pit bull, baseball bat

A 33-year-old Fruitland Park woman was arrested Thursday afternoon after she allegedly threatened a woman and her children with a pit bull and a baseball bat.

Kristie Leigh Slisz was arrested by Lake County sheriff’s deputies at her home at 2928 South Drive in Fruitland Park.

She allegedly ran at the woman and her children while holding a raised baseball bat and with a pit bull on a leash, according to an arrest report.

Slisz was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault without intent to kill. She was booked at the Lake County Jail on $2,000 bond.
