A woman was arrested after she was found passed out in a car at about 4 a.m. Saturday at a Circle K in The Villages.
Rebecca Sue Faulhaber, 31, of Summerfield, was being evaluated by EMS personnel when a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy arrived to check out the situation at the Circle K on Buenos Aires Boulevard.
Faulhaber seemed very confused and did not know how she got to the gas station, where she came from, and that she only remembered being “in The Villages,” according to an arrest report. She initially told the deputy she had not been drinking and did not take any drugs.
She failed field sobriety exercises.
She later admitted she was taking 100 mg of Zoloft per day. She also told the deputy she had consumed most of a 12-ounce Coors Light between 8 to 9:15 p.m. that night, but that she had “nursed” it.
A breath test revealed Faulhaber had a blood alcohol content of 0.00. She refused to submit to a urine test.
She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on a charge of driving under the influence. She was released after posting $1,000 bond.
