Woman reports black SUV left scene of accident that damaged her vehicle on County Road 466

An Ocala woman’s vehicle was damaged Monday morning by a vehicle that left the scene of an accident on County Road 466.

Naomi Rachelle Kane, 34, of Ocala had been driving a 2008 Mazda four-door sedan at 9:56 a.m. Monday eastbound on County Road 466 near its intersection with U.S. Hwy. 27/441 when her vehicle was rear-ended by a black SUV, according to an accident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

Kane told police the black SUV then backed up and left the area southbound on U.S. Hwy. 27/441. She said the SUV was driven by a white male.

The damage to the SUV should be in the front center bumper area. There was a black paint transfer on the rear bumper of Kane’s vehicle, the report noted.
